Horizons Foundation has partnered with Go Ye Ministries to:

1. Build attractive feeding stations for orphaned or abandoned children;
2. Build homes or apartments where up to 12 orphaned/abandoned children are living in their new homes;
3. Select Christian adults to raise the children and to teach the children about God’s love for them;
4. Provide quality education including English training and computer skills;
5. Build local businesses where a portion or all of the profits flow back into the support of the children;
6. Locate partners to become ‘Angel’ investors to provide seed money.

Casa de Paz
Horizons Foundation partnered with Go Ye Ministries to build a family-centered orphanage, Casa de Paz or House of Peace.  The orphanage building is adjacent to the church built by Go Ye Ministries.  The orphanage is set up in family-style homes for up to 15-16 children so the children will know what it is like to have brothers and sisters and be part of a family. Three acres of land has been purchased near the church and orphanage where 8 more homes are being built, some completed and others nearing completion.  When all the homes are built, there will be homes for 200 abused and abandoned children.

Generation of Leaders
The largest home has been expanded and converted to a private school, Generation of Leaders, which opened in March 2008.  It is a bi-lingual Christian school which teaches English, academic, computer, and life skills.  By teaching English with North American volunteers, the school is attracting some of the best and brightest children in the city as every parent wants their child to have the best education available.  This school is the best in Pacasmayo, Peru.  The school’s motto is “Learning for World Changers”.  The curriculum is from the USA and the children will receive a USA certificate at graduation.  With the planned expansion, the school will be able to educate 150 children.
