Why
Horizons Foundation was formed to serve the helpless, homeless, orphaned and abandoned children. Our primary function is to provide humanitarian aid and assistance to those in need.
- With your help, we will partner with other reliable charitable foundations to feed and rescue as many street children as possible;
- With your help, we will set up homes for Christian couples to raise abandoned children to maturity;
- With your help, we will provide housing, education, food and clothing for needy children;
- With your help, we will fund microlending entrepreneurs and other businesses in order to feed a portion of the profits back into the perpetual self-support of these projects.
In the 25th chapter of Matthew (NIV - verse 35 and 36), Jesus said: "For when I was hungry, you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me"
